MERICS Conversation with EUCCC President Jens Eskelund

On Tuesday, 18 June, 9:00 – 10:00 CEST, MERICS organized a confidential conversation with Jens Eskelund, President of the European Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC).

Eskelund shared findings from the EUCCC’s recent Business Confidence Survey and discussed how EU companies were adapting to new realities in China, including the expectation of a continued weak domestic economy. Jens Eskelund has lived and worked in China for 25 years and is chief representative for Maersk in Greater China and Northeast Asia.

The conversation was for MERICS Members and key stakeholders, and by personal invitation only. In order to enable an open and confidential discussion, the event was taking place in person; digital participation was not possible.
